KUOTA BICYCLE DIVISION LIMITED WARRANTY

This warranty in no way replaces or is an extension of a complete bicycle manufacturer’s warranty. Retailers and wholesale outlets for KUOTA products are not authorized to modify this warranty in any way. It is the consumer’s responsibility to regularly examine the product to determine the need for normal service or replacement. This warranty does not cover the following:

1. KUOTA products that have been modified, neglected, poorly maintained, used in competition / race or for commercial purposes, misused or abused or involved in accidents.
2. Damage occurring during shipment of the products (such claims must be presented directly to the carrier).
3. Damage to products resulting from improper assembly or repair.
4. Damage resulting from causes other than defects in materials and workmanship, including but not limited to lack of technical skill, competence, or experience of the user.
5. Damage or deterioration to the surface finish, aesthetics or appearance of the product.
6. The labor required to remove and/or re-fit and re-adjust the product within the bicycle assembly.
7. Normal wear of the product.

This warranty applies specifically to Canada and the United States.

How to make a warranty claim

Consumer

Your customer will need to bring the affected component back to you with the original receipt to start the warranty process.

Dealer

You will need to call Eurospek/ KUOTA for a return authorization number (RA). Make sure you have all the following informations available: component or bike model number, date of purchase and description of the problem. We recommend that you return the product via a courier who provides tracking number information for your package and has the RA number clearly printed on the outside of each parcel.

When you have a component or bike that needs to be returned for warranty consideration, be sure to send only the portion in question. For example, when sending back a frameset for warranty assessment, please remove all the components and wash it before.
